So, I've tooted about this before, but I keep finding #geodes in my backyard. They are not great quality, but some are quite sizable. Asked my husband if he planted them, but he denies. Smart people on Mastodon, what's a good explanation now?
In this photo, the right most is what I found yesterday. The one on its left is very similar, and I found that a couple years ago. I found the yellow one on the left last year, and the largest one in the middle is maybe from two years ago. #puzzling

My father has been making bismuth geodes for his next two bowls. One has very fine crystallines, while the other is far more defined. He’s incorporating them into Box Elder and the red coming out of the wood in itself is stunning. Here are some #photos I had taken of his #bismuth #geodes.
