DarkstripeGaming Problem 15: Storage Space.
Let's face it, the storage space you get on modern consoles is terrible.
Don't get me wrong, it's better than the older consoles in which you had to buy and keep about 20 memory cards to keep your save games on, and then you needed to remember which one you saved the game you WANTED to play on.
But yeah, we live in an age where the most common method of buying games is to download them directly onto your console, and how much do they give you to store them?
1TB? That's all, in an era where it's not uncommon to see a major game that takes up 150GB of that space or something, well over a tenth!
That's not to mention that the 1TB storage is borderline false advertising, by the time you have your console set up, and the vital things are in there, that's taken up near on half of the storage before you've even downloaded any games on it.
I can tell you this, as games get more complex, we'll see the memory these games take creep up more and more. Oblivion Remastered is 123GB, and that's a REMASTER of an older game! Compare that to the size of the original Game of the Year edition. 6.6GB.
That's a LOT of bloat, these game companies seriously need to find a way to keep their games from taking up so much space.
Gaming Problem 333: Sidequest distractions.
Typical RPG gaming session for me.
1: Check Quests.
2: Set out on a simple quest that should take ten minutes tops.
3: Get distracted by something else on the way to said quest.
4: End up in another quest that has multiple parts to it.
5: Realize said quest takes place in a very maze like area, and there's no map, only checkpoint markers.
6: ?????
7: Go around in circles multiple times before finding the right path.
8: Get over-encumbered.
9: Get killed and realize your last save was a while back, meaning you end up doing 6, 7 and 8 again.
10: Finally getting past 9, you manage to complete the quest.
11: Temporarily hold off the original quest until you've sold all your loot back at the city.
12: Sell loot, head back out to original quest.
13: Oh look, there's a deep hole in this pond, I wonder where that leads!
14: Return to step 3.

That damn limit on how much your character can hold, item limit, over-encumbered, whatever it is.
How are you even supposed to make a profit if you can't sell those 33 wooden plates?
Modern Gamer Problems no.47
Fighting a difficult boss in a video game, only for the batteries to suddenly die in your gamer pad.
Proceed to to change the batteries and then immediately get your rear end kicked after unpausing.
Spend the next hour trying to beat the boss that you would have beaten on your battery dying run.
