Man, I hate, absolutely hate, working at a startup in this AI-infested hellish nightmare.

Users are no longer happy with adding a filter or some other thing to improve their workflow.
No, they want a full-blown LLM in whatever shit they are doing, want to give orders and have an Excel magically transform into whatever they want.

And if the product team cannot give it to them and give it fast, they are now firing up Claude/GPT and vibe-coding it.

We've seen this shit before, it never worked well.
The level of AI-slop-powered shadow IT we will have running in the near future is beyond any belief.

so I drove up to Winnetka (42.110359, -87.747559) this morning to kick off the weekend with a bagel, hot chocolate, and the background murmur of suburbia. I angle-parked up the avenue a bit, and only after I stepped out of my vehicle did I realize that I had parked like a total jagoff: my car was like 33% over the line on the passenger side, and not even lined up right. But I looked around, and it’s a quiet morning. There were more empty spaces on both sides of me, including like a dozen just a little further on from me. So I just said Fuck It, I’m not going to be here that long, it isn’t really harming anyone, and it’s good practice not being a perfectionist. I walked away and left it like that, and I’m sitting here enjoying my breakfast, letting anyone in the world think I’m an asshole or just tragicomically bad at parking. It’s not like they’d be _wrong_
