I've decided to start preparing for a career change. I've been working as a developer for about 6 years now and I used to really enjoy it but now I am pretty much just reviewing gpt code from vibe coding colleagues and it has sucked all the fun out of the job.
I always enjoyed the process of making software and solving problems. Now it's all just copilots and LLM assistants 😫 great for technological advancements and productivity but pretty boring.
AI has kinda ruined everything digital for me 😅 so I'm going to try to move into a more outdoorsy role. Gardening or something.
The earth is waking…
You can feel it in the soft breeze, see it in the burst of blossoms, and hear it in the joyful chirping of birds. Spring is here, and with it comes the quiet reminder that renewal is always possible.
Take a deep breath—new beginnings are blooming all around us.

Today was my last day with my team, and I start a new role with a new team on Monday. Got a lot of thanks, and acknowledgement for my work, but the thing that I will carry with me, is a common theme of team members being thankful for me helping to create a safe learning environment.
It was a very confusing day emotionally for me, and it will take a few days for me to really let all of those personal notes land fully.
