I love people, nature and this entire planet so damn much. Most people I have casually talked to near where I live, unfortunately have a difficult time understanding me because of this. They often will try to convince me to not continue doing what I do, but the truth is that I've never felt better than what I'm doing now.

So much of North American society is sold on the idea of "convenience", that they often grow detached of the real cost of that "convenience." The conflation of "wants" as "needs" epitomizes the circus wheelhouse that they endlessly keep chasing. The social fabrication of desires ironically takes away their freedoms, when it was supposed to "buy them time" or "make life easier" for them.

This is why things like veganism, going car-free, privacy as a human-right, right-to-repair, affordable housing, free education, free healthcare, and so on and so forth, are posed as obstacles of inconvenience, rather than actual needs for a healthy and helpful society.

The amount of excuses people give to avoid these benefits is appalling. The hypocrisy is outrageous. They usually see all these "inconveniences" as something that takes away their rights and freedoms, when it's the complete opposite. So what if it costs you a couple hundred a month in taxes? It's still way cheaper than paying over $20,000 for a single surgery. Why not switch over to FOSS projects and recognize the lack of tracking and sign-ups required to access your own data? How about not consuming animal flesh and have a reduced chance of heart failure, preventing climate change and literally not cause unnecessary suffering to another living being? The benefits are obvious and clearly convenient.

Do I expect people to be able to do all these things without making a mistake? No, never. Even I will admit I'm not perfect either, but I think the big difference that tend to cause disagreement is the lack of accountability.

I feel responsible for the choices I make, and I make them with purpose. When I put my mind to something and decide to do it, it's because I see the bigger picture of helping everyone around me. For them, it's a matter of "convenience" for themselves, whether it exploits others or even themselves to have it. I'm willing to put up with the "inconvenience" of being on a motorcycle for the safety of everyone else around me in their GPS-tracking steel cages. Funny how freedom works that way.

The deliberate theft of free education by successive governments is one of the greatest acts of intergenerational theft in our history. I know, because I was one of the lucky ones who benefited from Whitlam's vision. We must restore it.

How did Australian universities go from free education to $50,000 arts degrees in 50 years?

Thanks to the Job Ready Graduates scheme, an arts degree today will cost over $50,000. How have five decades of government policy taken us from free education to this?

If the "education" system wanted to educate someone, why does it gatekeep that knowledge behind a literal mental health trap instead of putting it on a public access website that allows people to see it without having to pay for it with money and their own mental health?
