I learned today that if you have both a Garmin Edge and a Garmin watch, you can't automatically send heart rate data from the watch to the Edge when you start an activity. Before every ride, you have to manually enable the "Broadcast HR" option in the HR glance settings. This is really inconvenient.
Is cycling computer worth it (Garmin Edge 840, for example)?
Starting conditions:
- no power meter
- urban commuting / uphill workouts 50/50
- already have Forerunner 265
- flat bars on the bicycle

However I have found one use case that I cannot do with #deezer but only with #Spotify: I want to add #podcast s directly to a #playlist (not possible) so that I can sync it with my #garmin #forerunner265 to listen to podcasts while #running . This is totally easy with Spotify (see pic), but on Deezer I can only add songs to playlists, no podcasts. So I'll probably stick to Spotify until this feature exists. Syncing a Deezer playlist to my #Garmin watch works just fine. Just the playlist is not flexible enough.

My #Garmin #forerunner265 was predicting 21:08 min for 5 km yesterday. I accepted the challenge and ran 5 km in 20:15 . Watch is now recommending to rest 72h, but I actually don't feel that exhausted. What puzzles me more is that the watch now predicts 21:05 for 5 km. I wonder how these estimates get updated #running #runnersofmastadon #ai
