The next repair cafe will be:
July 25, 2026 from 10am to 2pm

"What is a repair cafe you ask?

A Repair Cafe is a gathering of volunteers who offer to consult on and possibly fix items that would otherwise go to landfills.

A person who has an item that needs to be fixed can bring it to the Repair Cafe and one of the volunteers can assess if the item is fixable and how to fix it. Not every item can be fixed at the event, you will be given next steps to fix the item. Also, did we mention it is totally free?

We are looking for Fixers for our next Repair Cafe!

If you like to fix things and have skills you think will be useful please fill out this form bellow for more information!

Useful fixing skills we are looking for (but not limited to): bicycle, sewing/sewing machine, jewelry, wood , small appliance electrical, caning, ceramic, and knife sharpening."

"Community cycles will be offering free bicycle repair at the Gilroy Library!

- Arrive early! Service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and space is limited.
- Our basic repair ensures that each bike has at least one working brake and gear and flat tire repair.
- We do not offer complete bike rebuilds or work on accessories such as kickstands and racks.

At Community Cycles, we believe that keeping a bike safe and reliable is just as important as providing access to one. That’s why we offer free safety and reliability repairs to anyone in need.

We will also host free bike repair on Fridays (10am-12pm) these dates:
