Suspicious death in Colchester County area

The Northeast Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit is investigating a suspicious death that occurred in Five Islands. On January 9, 2023, at approximately 7:05 p.m., Colchester County District RCMP and Cumberland County District RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Sand Point Hill Ln. and Wharf Rd. in Five Islands.

There was a murder in my tiny home community in Colchester County last night, minutes from where my mom still lives.
The guy was on the run until this morning.
The RCMP didn't send out text alerts. Again.
