My people are out of #yellowknife, two are still making the slow, crowded journey south. Of the things they left behind, hoping they will be there when (if) they can return: a bookstore, jobs, a new house, a house just listed for sale, prized possessions, livelihoods. The other large air tanker based at MCC fire base is T210…she has been fighting the #whittlefire and she is headed back to the retardant pits. This 737 was formerly in the Southwest Airlines passenger fleet.
