I'm pleased to report that we had fourteen folks show up for the #OttawaMeetup, proving that if you say you'll stand in a park in an orange shirt, people will come. No, I will not stand on the picnic table. 🤣

Thank you to all who took time out of their weekend to come out and say hello in meatspace. Even got a group photo of those who were willing.

Saturday #Workout:
11 minutes of yoga for runners.
52 minutes of strength training (cutting up fallen branches).
38 KM of #Cycling (18°C, 43% humidity, and 21 KM/H wind, gusting to 35 KM/H).
Attended the Ottawa #FediverseMeetUp,
9.7 KM of cycling with @TAV.

Got some quiet reading and tea drinking done before cutting up the fallen branches, got treated to a bit of an airshow, then went roundabout to get to Vincent Massey Park, had a wonderful time, and then biked home.

Note for the #ScribesAndMakers crowd: I'll be prioritizing answering new questions as the day unfolds, but will absolutely do some responses to replies later tonight too. Off to gymnastics class in an hour, and all that.

There's also a #FediverseMeetUp in #Ottawa organized by @WTL today, so I'll be out at the park from about 2-3pm EDT.

Yesterday’s #FediverseMeetup at @offline, #Berlin was so cool and insightful! Lovely to chat with very knowledgeable and interesting folks.

I have been thinking about the discussion so much that last night I dreamt of @liaizon telling the story of how they built their whole self hosted #ActivityPub instance in one single #PHP file.

This is not true and I have no idea how my unconscious could have conceived this ahahah
