#FediWish: a way for any user to create a "share" link for a DM which allows it to be viewed by anyone (on the same instance) with admin privileges.

(Actually, I'd like the sharing user to be able to choose the audience-scope -- sometimes it'd be nice to have the ability to make DMs public, or share with specific other people -- but the "most harmless" version is the admins-only view.)

It would be nice if there was a way for users of an instance to flag individual accounts they follow as "recommended", so that there could be a list/feed of "follows recommended by our users", so new people would have a starting-point for getting connected.

It could either be aggregated (showing how many users recommended each follow), or by individual recommender -- so if there are people you know or like already on the instance, you could use their recommendations specifically.

@cliffwade It would be interesting for #Mastodon and other #ActivityPub implementations to add further controls for kicking off follows or preventing follows (with targeting, not locked for everyone) without just entirely blocking people or instances.

It's a lack of granular control that doesn't entirely make sense (and the spec says nothing about it eitherway).

#Wishlist item for #Mastodon and #Fediverse instance listing sites: Allow filtering on #Tor usage support. A lot of sites for some incomprehensible reason just #e403 everything instead.

Well excuse me if I don't expect you to be able nor willing to defend my #privacy at all cost (nor should I expect that out of someone) and so take precautions to protect myself on my own.
