For the second month, weāve been testing a new payment option via FastSpring for the WEDOS OnLine service. Automatic payments save you time, so you donāt have to worry about a thing ā everything is seamless and secure. š

Wait, my #FastSpring store has been deactivated again?
On top of the other deactivation?
What *is* going on here?
I think I will need to be leaving #FastSpring as the sole shop for my apps and ebooks and stuff.
At the very least, I'll need to set up an alternative as a fallback:
2 days ago I received an email that one of the shop backends was being 'offline'd and no live transactions will go through.
No prior notice, no information as to why. Also, the reply email is automation@ so I needed to manually get in touch with support.
Still waiting for "risk team" reply after support "escalated" my inquiry.
Had the weirdest support interaction, yet.
It turns out that someone wanted a refund for an app. No problem. #FastSpring thankfully reached out to me and I resolved the issue.
What I received for 2 days, though, were emails with all-caps subjects in Portuguese. I deleted these without even looking close as spam. Mods in our forum did the same there, it turns out.
I still can't quite grasp that someone bought an app on an English website and then email in their own language.
So #FastSpring got an API now.
Who t.f. designed dates to be in MM/DD/YY format?
Right, so I signed up with Paddle and with FastSpring (also a merchant of record) and I donāt think Paddle is going to work as you canāt create subscription plans via their API. In FastSpring you can so Iām going to continue to looking at that. So, to update my query:
Anyone know anyone at FastSpring they can introduce me to or have any experiences with them they can share with me?
(I may still end up going with #Stripe.)
