Still catching up with 2022 #shortfiction reading. This one, "Blooms of Sorrow" by @amandaghelms , grabbed me. The #horror comes in layers, mixing physical with psychological; the metaphors lie right at the surface, sharp enough to cut. A dysfunctional family trying to heal. Highly recommended. #Fiyah issue 24.
