Das Exploratorium ist ein bei Stegen gelegenes Grundstück der Universität, auf dem der Forstentomologe Prof. Dr. Peter Biedermann von der Fakultät für Umwelt und Natürliche Ressourcen untersucht, wie sich mithilfe relativ einfacher Maßnahmen die Artenvielfalt nachhaltig fördern lässt.
