Last week I headed up to San Francisco for the 5th Annual #StartOut Equity Summit.
As part of the 2024 #EquitySummit Programming Board I spent a lot of the day setting things up, checking people in, and generally trying to help out behind the scenes.
I also got to give a Legal Lightning Talk where I managed to, and I quote, “make legal not boring” while “dominating” the stage.

That’s right, I’m heading up to SF this week for the #EquitySummit to give a lightning talk about some important #startup legal issues: business entity formation and core contracts.
Our panel (Education Session II at 3:35 p.m.) is going to be a really interesting one, so if you can’t make it in person, check it out for free online!

I am very excited to announce that I am officially on the StartOut 2024 Equity Summit Programming Board!
Last year I attended the Equity Summit, which was 100% virtual, and was just blown away by the fantastic gathering of LGBTQ+ founders, community members, and VCs. So I am beyond psyched to be a part of planning this year's 5th Annual #EquitySummit. Stay tuned for details but this event is going to be live in SF, on June 20th, with some virtual attendance options as well.
