🤩Zwei ERC Advanced Grants gehen an die #UniStuttgart. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Prof. Laura Na Liu und Prof. Blazej Grabowski zu dieser großartigen Auszeichnung!👏 Beide erhalten für ihre Forschungsprojekt jeweils eine Förderung in Höhe von 2,5 Mio. €.

Blazej Grabowskis Projekt „META-LEARN“ zielt darauf ab, die Entwicklung von #Simulationsmethoden für das Materialdesign zu optimieren. Dafür kombiniert er quantenmechanisch-fundierte Methoden mit Konzepten aus dem #MaschinellenLernen.

Laura Na Liu und ihr Team werden wissenschaftliches Neuland im Bereich der #Nanotechnologie erkunden: Im Rahmen des Projekts „Engineered DNA Moiré Superlattices (DMoS)“ sollen spezifische Eigenschaften von #DNA genutzt werden, um neuartige Moiré-Materialien zu entwickeln und neue Möglichkeiten etwa in der Spintronik und Nanophotonik zu eröffnen.
