Computational structural biology

The EMBO Workshop #EMBOComp3D brought together scientists to discuss the application of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques in the field of structural biology πŸ’»πŸ€–

We are proud to announce two of the winners of the best poster prizes, recognizing their outstanding contributions:

πŸ… Riccardo Capelli, University of Milan, Italy
πŸ… Jannik Gut, University of Bern, Switzerland

Can you believe it? #EMBOComp3D is already over πŸ₯²

More than 270 eager and active participants enjoyed a 4-day progamme full of fantastic keynote lectures, presentations, and poster sessions to share their latest research.
Fun, laughter and social networking possiblilties were also abundant during the evening social events πŸŽˆπŸŽ‰

πŸ‘ A big thank you to the organisers, speakers, and keynote speakers for delivering such a high quality, well rounded event.

Last day of the #EMBOComp3D - was one of the most intensive conferences for me. Maybe because I dove into a new field but maybe because there seems to be quite some energy in the field currently. Eager to see how it will further change my field in the future. Nice side fact: Nobody claimed X-ray crystallography dead πŸ˜‰
Mmmhh... πŸ€” Science is still happening on Twitter not on mastodon. I am probably the only one here posting about #EMBOComp3D, while on Twitter there a plenty. What a shame πŸ˜’
First session over at #EMBOComp3D - was very nice to hear John Jumper and @minkbaek talking about #AlphaFold and #RosettaFold next to each other. It's vitally important to have two methods challenging each other - this is essentially how science works. Kudos two both teams!

Today is a special day! Can you guess why? β›„οΈβ˜€οΈ

Correct: today is the start of the #EMBOComp3D conference πŸ–₯οΈπŸ§¬πŸ˜€
The organisers have arranged a big bag full of great sessions, talks and presentations.

#EMBOComp3D just started with a "flight security instructions" - quite funny. Looking forward to an interesting conference organised with help from @EMBOevents

RT @jankosinski: Our new Computational Structural Biology Conference! We're committed to making this a must-attend biennial event in the field!
