My #Ubiquiti #DreamMachine died today, a little over 5 years old, make me sad a £330 purchase is now junk, but my DR plan kicked in nicely with the Cloud #backup #restore of the Network Application to my #CloudKey NVR working perfectly. Dug out a small #Unifi switch and AP and fired up the ISP router and I was back in business. Now what do I replace it with, thinking I should separate out the router and AP now and maybe look to future proof with something 2.5Gbps capable, just in case!
Greg BrooksGot a UCG Fiber installed and finally retired my #Unifi #DreamMachine. DAC cabled over to the existing switch. Wifi7 in for the house now as well.

It worked! I can see the live feed, it’s recording to the #DreamMachine drive and you can later review and download the recording!🥰
Today on the agenda is to build my new #dreammachine.
