@Alpat56
"Je viens de faire mon #eXit L’exode de X est massif ! Ne perdez pas un seul de vos followers. Grâce à #HelloQuitX j’ai inscrit 553 nouveaux passagers pour un voyage vers #BlueSky & #Mastodon. Embarquez vous aussi et retrouvez automatiquement vos communautés le #20Janvier"
Anyone have any idea what it is with @admin @ piaille.fr ?
That domain seems to be about the only source for the constant stream of what I call "HelloQuitX" spam
All virtually-identical in wording, pushing the same message:
"I just did my #eXit X's exodus is massive! Don't lose a single one of your followers. Thanks to #HelloQuitX I've signed up 553 new passengers for a trip to #BlueSky & #Mastodon."
I suppose getting off X is a fine idea but I become deeply suspicious when large numbers of identically-worded spam push one method to do so - all from one #Fediverse instance:
@piaille.fr
What personal information do people have to give up to use this service?
*That* is always the unanswered question
OK: to look at the web site you have to give up your Twitter login, your Mastodon login, and your Bluesky login
What's not to love?
I #Mute and #Block all of it, and I'm about two heartbeats away from #DomainBlocking the entire piaille dot fr domain
