After a few hours of operation of my new instance, my followers and my follows have been succesfully migrated.  I am now watching the logs and the storage.  Two interesting points:

So far 1.7GB space used on disk.  I wonder how much it will grow. This size is fine. 10x more is also fine. 100x more would fell excessive.

So far my instance "knows of" 827 other instances.  This has ramped up pretty fast.  First, my instance seems to know more instances than I know people on the fediverse (this is more than my followers and my follows numbers).  Second, this shows me for the first time how truly distributed fediverse is.  I have not realized this until now.
