Solving the problem of the corruptibility of our social media ecosystem (as so ably demonstrated by Elon Musk) is an important step in healing our public discourse.

Somehow users need to have simultaneous access to the advantages of the Fediverse (primarily decentralization) and Bluesky (no confusion to get started) or else users of both ecosystems need to be able to interact across that divide more fully.

Fixing the Disinformation Age

Evidently, there's still a large demand for the outright lies spewed by what is an oxymoron to have "News" as its last name. Fortunately, the news networks still on Earth 1 have a combined higher viewership, although I have my doubts about #CNN ever since oligarch billionaire #JohnMalone began his quest to turn it into another #FoxNews. I've been boycotting it ever since.

We used to live in what was called the #InformationAge. It's now the #DisinformationAge.
