#SFTP is IMHO better than #FTP(S) unless one wants to host stuff publicly like a repository but then again #HTTP(S) can do the same and apparently way better in terms of scaling because there was money put into making webservers go brr and we have all the value-removing rentseekers like #ClownFlare that need to sell #DigitalSnakeoil to #TechIlliterate Decisionmakers believing in #Scams like #Antivirus and #WebApplicationFirewalls to be worth paying for.
