My Orion / Kagi experiment continues.
I know I’m not the first to reach the conclusion that Kagi’s speed and quality of results easily justify the subscription costs. I’d comment that it could be prettier though 🤣
Orion has also been frictionless and appears to be sticking with me on both platforms. It works great and just gets out of the way.

I learned that the artist behind the artwork for the game Elite was none other than Philip Castle, the designer of the posters for A Clockwork Orange and Full Metal Jacket, among others.
He passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 83 🙏
I’ve been super impressed using Kagi Translate (iOS) over the last couple in Taiwan. Although the app isn’t remotely iOS native and could use its UX streamlining the quality of results is incredible.

Again: if an HVAC installer tells you that your home is in a climate "too cold" for a heat pump, they are wrong, and probably not trained to install a heat pump. Look elsewhere.
