DataCite Connect Livingstone 2024 (#DataCiteConnect24) - DataCite
The DataCite community will convene in Livingstone on 04 November 2024 to discuss how we can increase the visibility of theses and dissertations (ETDs) through the use of persistent identifiers (PIDs). In the session, we will discuss the value of PIDs, more specifically Digital Object Identifiers, in ETD workflows. We will present use cases of institutions implementing DataCite infrastructure for ETDs, data, and other workflows. The session will include several interactive components, such as breakouts to discuss PIDs and metadata best practices for ETDs.
