And that was right after we caught the end of the dancers from Vera Cruz.
What a day! (Earlier that morning before the drive to coyoacan was menudo/pancita for breakfast)
I mean the sheer joy in this college kids face! They were showing off their work on some sort of propulsion to the public there at the Sunday market and raising money for entering some international science/engineering competitition.
Contributed a small bit and wished him the best, said I didn't need an explanation but he came back so excited to tell us that it's carbon fiber ("I know you know what it is but I wanted to show you")
Ah indulge me a few more pics. I had such a blast in Mexico City. Just the sheer joy and carefree feel (and greenery I think too) and colors - last Sunday in Coyoacán 💞

I only took one pic inside the Biblioteca Vasconcelos with my 'big' camera (the one 👆 ) was with my old phone (and is totally unedited). Was too amazed just looking all around and over (and just using my phone to take some pics).

Enjoyed some seasonal #IceCream in Mexico this past Sunday.
Had the first - Nogada (walnut cream) ice cream - based on (stuffed poblano) Chiles en nogada that's on menus now. (Tried that too - will update later)
The other I only tasted - a touch strong and unusual so I didn't want a whole scoop - but long distinct marigold flavor/aroma.
Both were not very sweet (perfect really)

I did end up tasting a bunch of the moles (pastes) and also powders. My español is realmente malo so I had no idea what they were (except I understood poblano and one had almonds I figured; food ingredients words I tend to know). Luckily I had some coins in my pocket that was enough along the last currency notes iny wallet (phew)

Last eats this late morning in Mexico City airport! Tempted by the 7-11 but chilaquiles won out (especially as I hadn't had any on the trip ...)
