@Kon in #Australia I see your comment and agree. Stepping back,, #lockdowns were hard for people for different reasons as nations around the world and #NewZealand were in a crisis

I can empathise with people who are frustrated at whoever leads them through crisis — in some kind of cognitive attempt to put that time in an envelope and seal it

That said, here in #Victoria Australia — we had #DanAndrews and the #DanSlide 2.0, so there's more who respect hard choices in challenged times

It was only a week or so ago that the #ABC hyped up its (must watch) coverage of the Victorian elections all as it played along with the Murdoch Costello & Stokes BS hype that "The Vic election were on a knife edge" blah blah, so why now the deafening silence on the actual results being that the Vic ALP didn't lose a seat & may actually gain one.
If the last election was called a #DanSlide why the silence on this #DanSlide2 ??

I hope there's going to be some navel gazing out of the media (both mainstream and not) regarding the amount of gaslighting they were pushing onto the Victorian (and Australian) public about this election. They got it not just wrong but hugely, incredibly, ridiculously wrong.

Labor has matched the 55 seats it won at the Victorian #Danslide election 4 years ago & could go 1 better if the final contest falls its way.

Pakenham was added to Labor’s tally on Thursday afternoon after final preference distributions.

It will better that result if it adds Bass, where Labor’s Jordan Crugnale leads the Liberals’ Aaron Brown by 211 votes.

The Victorian Electoral Commission confirmed preference distributions for Bass would be finalised & published today #auspol
