Un trabajo siempre se debe recibir un fruto de ello, no se trabaja por amor al arte, se debería trabajar para vivir y no al contrario, y un trabajo además debe ser remunerado de tal forma que a la persona pueda acceder a las cosas que le permitan llevar una vida digna, debe poder alcanzar para comer, vestirse, tener una vivenda , pagar sus facturas y además poder disfrutar del ocio e incluso poder tener unas vacaciones decentes, pues ese es el objetivo y el valor del trabajo, porque trabajar gratis es como decir que el trabajo que uno hace no tiene valor, otra cosa distinta es a lo mejor ayudar esporádicamente a un familiar o un amigo por ejemplo a llevar un mueble, un favor por supuesto que puede ser gratis, pero nunca un trabajo en si.

Por eso, WordPress, NUNCA trabajaría gratis, además que siempre, se trabaja a cambio de algo, porque es un esfuerzo que uno hace en la vida y tiene un valor.

Lo que hay que insistir es que a los trabajadores que se le debe pagar un salario que les permita simplemente vivir, es una de las luchas de las clase trabajadora, que siempre debe estar presente, porque la explotación de las personas nunca debe ser algo considerado normal.

If you do it for free is it a job? I think if you are doing it for free then it’s a hobby or a chore, not a job.

I am about to go outside and shovel yesterday’s snow and ice off of the driveway. I’m going to do it for free, but it’s not a job. If I went door to door and did it for the neighbors I would turn it into a job, but there is no way in hell I’d do it for free.

I would play gigs with the band for free, but it’s not a job for me, it’s a hobby. There are people around who do consider bar gigs a job and require the pay they get from those gigs for their living. If I did shows for free I would be taking work away from those people, thus literally taking money out of their pockets and food out of their kids’ mouths. No, I would not do bar gigs with the band for free. I will not screw up the very tenuous economy to indulge my hobby. No.

So is there a job I would do for free? No, I don’t think there is. Sorry, Charlie.
