blackbird days
The last snow melts
A promise of spring

Hey almost a clash with #MythologyMonday :)
"giorni della merla" Is the name given to the last days of January, supposedly the coldest days of winter, in Italian folklore.

The legend goes that a female blackbird, which back then was white, hid in a chimney with her chicks to escape the cold, but by the time they came out they had turned black.

And that's why blackbirds are black.
