of the summer cold front
Took a pilgrimage
to the #cradle of civilization
where the Sumerians
got Humanity's act together
way back in antiquity
Today it's replete with poverty
A former war zone
If those ancient architects
came back today
I bet they'd be pissed
just how badly
we fucked up their legacy
