not a great photo, but when i saw one of these little guys trying to carry a twig bigger than it is, i had to snap a quick pic. & the shadow looks cool😊

this puts to rest theories they are juveniles of some other type of #dove

the common ground dove is 6-7 in long. these are maybe 4, 5 tops. i couldn't find any breed of #doves that small as adults. but these are paired & making nests, so they are adults
