@mpts @CuratedHackerNews #ebpf in #FreeBSD may be extra important now for semi-commercial reasons specific to me and technology I have a stake in now. Patent worthy, but not the eBPF stuff itself. We'd plan to do #DOSP and free-the-future though.

New software license by @getsentry : Functional Source License (FSL) https://blog.sentry.io/introducing-the-functional-source-license-freedom-without-free-riding/

A "Delayed Open Source Publication" (DOSP) license like BUSL, but makes some opinionated choices to ease compliance: 2-year period to open source (Apache 2.0 or MIT) and clarifications around allowed purposes.
