I have #OpenWrt running on an old plusnet router (£15 on eBay), attaching to my mobile broadband and providing wired connections to my #HomeLab.

Aaaaand, the router is automatically updating the DNS records for my domain using the mythic-beasts.com v1 API. (Note I didn't get the OpenWrt #DDNS script to work with the v2 API).

Next, setting up remote access using Wireguard on the router.

Looking for advice on remote access for my #Proxmox based #HomeLab again. I'm trying to understand reverse proxy servers and choose something that minimises admin while keeping things secure/self hosted:

Main options seem:
- #Caddy seems favourite, but no GUI.
- #Nginx easier to set up and has GUI.

I think the idea is to spin one of these up in a VM, configured with a domain I own and a #DDNS but not sure.

A #Wireguard server also seems popular but am not seeing that while searching.

Αν τρέχετε services στο #RaspberryPi και θέλετε πρόσβαση απ' έξω χωρίς να πληρώνετε για static IP, το DuckDNS είναι μονόδρομος.

Έγραψα ένα tutorial για το πώς να το στήσετε σωστά στο Linux:
💻 Χειροκίνητο setup.
📜 Απλό bash script με curl.
⏱️ Cron job για updates.
🔒 Σωστά permissions και logs.
