What can you tell us about the conflict in your WIP?

Star Ryde:
Galactic scale war, known galaxy is attacked by a maybe two species bond on several occasions, the Eltaryn.
Giant, blue, bald, Mad Max, Frankenstein gorillas & insectoids, between the size of a coin & a skyscraper, H.R.Giger meets every crawling nightmare Insect- & Arachnophobes can imagine.
At times tuned up Mad Max, Frankenstein style. The only thing they share? They are blue & attack everyone else.

Vs

The Union, 6 species protecting everyone else, working together with 64 other species they try to lift up +
countless trading partners.

Vs (kinda)

The Rim worlds, hundreds of worlds that are stuck in different evolutional stages, mercenary armies, pirates, kingdoms, capitalist idiots, the same species from the Union outsiders or their cousins.
Beggars can't be choosers the Union is helpful in defending against the blue monsters.

Vs (kinda)

Ayanami & the their fleet.
They are on your side as long your not threatening the Union. Sadly there is no guide on how to not threaten the Union from Ayanamis perspective.

And don't forget all the terrible little factions like Seraph a Terran only terrorist group...

If your antagonist wrote their autobiography, what would the title be, and why?

StarRyde:
Ariæne has definitely written more than one over their lifespan, their entire system of remembering things is based on notes they takes at the end of a day and reading them the next day.
They would need an helper to sort that stuff out.

Do to their fractured memories I think they would choose a title like:
"A fragment in time, me in the now."

Ayanami probably wouldn't even touch touch the idea because it would give insight into who might behind all of this.

"I wake up in my beautiful Penthouse apartment in Dinohattan, on the 70th floor. It's a clear and sunny day, my muscles are only covered with a thin Kumo Silk, fresh Water and a good decaf coffee waiting in the Kitchen where Peach waits for me. She wears her beautiful sleeping dress with the Pink elements that screams high princess. Her sleeping mask with the printed crown sits on her forehead, she already is eating and reads the newspaper. Fresh croissants are backing in the tiny oven.

Instead I wake up, in my shitty one pipe apartment, in Donktown, where half the district is torn down by King Robert Koopa Bowser himself, wearing my shirt from yesterday, my dungarees and workboots.
Because I fell asleep, worrying how to pay my rent, because my brother hasn't paid me in 3 months and my lander could burst in every moment finding me, seemingly passed out, like one of the Ganja Idiots, with a stupid super fungi on the table.

I haven't touched this shit since Daisy and I parted ways, because
I try to get my shit show of a life together.
You know I feel like a looser in this stupid hole in the ground, like a shadow, empty glass... No the empty supper Mario of the Luigi Brothers...

Making a living as in survival?
Yes absolutely.
A good living?
Hedgehog on a pogo stick YES!

Universal base income combined with no interest rates, minimum and maximum wages/income because you are able to earn more if you sell your work/workforce, income transparency and harshly enforced company income regulations.
The Union enforces a strict policy against ('tax') payment evasion (it's a crime against society) forced payment of all excess money (basically that's the only tax that exists), above maximum income threshold, to the Union, strictly regulated rents and rent caps, strongly price controlled goods. And a compassionate society that actively offers help and is fine if someone don't want to accept help -> free medical services, free education.
The Union cares for their citizens

To be honest, nope, it's a shit show. People suffer through the same problems as they do here but now everything is a dark twisted (Not so) super Mario world. Power Up addiction runs wild. And everyone ones their slice of the big apple. The worst are the Cyderpunks... It simply doesn't look good, if you aren't the corrupt and racist children's book author Robert Koopa Bowser... He simply puts out slop after slop after slop hate piece and now doubles in AI and properties...

Die Union existiert zur Verteidigung allen Lebens, auch auf nicht Unionswelten, in der Galaxie gegen die Eltaryn.
Die Eltaryn haben bisher keine Gewaltfreien Kommunikationsversuche unternommen, jedes Mal starben abertausende unbeteiligte also werden die blauen Riesengorilla und die blauen Gigantokakerlaken am besten noch vor Sichtkontakt abgeschossen.
