surprise surprise: #ElonMusk's #X will hold its money at America's shadiest bank as it attempts to turn itself into a #fintech platform.

The bank in quesiton is Cross River Bank (CRB) in #NewJersey which was responsible for such an incredible amount of #covid relief fraud that there's a several hundred page congressional report about it.

Cross River also took ~$100 million in investment from the malaysian police inspector in charge of "investigating" the several billion dollar #1MDB fraud in ##Malaysia (one of the biggest financial frauds in history)... in between taking rounds of investment from #MarcAndreessen's #a16z. CRB were (and probably still are) #Coinbase's bank and are rabidly #Zionist and connected to the #Netanyahu regime.

I’ve been talking about the connections between the #Netanyahu family and some of the sketchiest characters in the crypto industry (esp. #Tether co-founder #BrockPierce) for years so I was glad to see #UdiLevy, the former head of #Mossad's economic unit #Tzalsel, starting to ask the same questions of #Qatargate.

Among other things Netanyahu's niece is a part owner of #Bancor, a defi lending platform that imploded in 2022 in hilarious fashion.

Re: #AryehDeri, the man who triggered the mass protests in Israel in 2023, Deri was seen at the groundbreaking for #BrixSoftware, major vendor for #CrossRiverBank, the single largest purveyor of covid relief fraud in the US. CRB received massive investment from #MarcAndreessen's #a16z, both before and after a massive “investment” from a Malaysian police chief who somehow had hundreds of millions of dollars to invest after he “investigated” the #1MDB fraud.

Great article by @mikeburgersburg about #Coinbase's sketchy af banking partner #CrossRiverBank goes through the Congressional accusations of #PPP / Covid relief fraud on a massive scale, the incredible #predatorylending schemes this bank is running through its partners at companies like #AFRM and #UPST, and other aspects of Cross River's "interesting" business model.

Doesn't even get into the $100 million investment from the Malaysian police inspector who "investigated" the theft of $4-5 billion in one of the greatest financial scandals of all time, #1MDB (fun fact: the movie "The Wolf Of Wall Street" was funded in large part by this massive theft from Malaysia's working people).
