So, #covid and #strep are running rampant among teachers and students at 11yo's school.

I had to pick her up early yesterday because she had a migraine.

She stayed home today with general ickiness & low energy. Temp 1° above normal-for-her.

She and Ed just tested negative for covid. They'll test again Sunday evening.

I started running a fever this evening. I'll test tomorrow evening.

I have been out of #CovidJail for 2 weeks, 4 days.

So.

Considering

-the little confusions I've experienced here and there since I came out of #CovidJail

-my increased difficulty since then in starting and/or completing tasks

-my difficulty since then in making decisions & processing information

-the fact that 30 min ago, I LOCKED MYSELF OUT OF BOTH HOUSE AND CAR

-and the fact that the science checks out,

I can confirm that #COVID makes #ADHD symptoms, ESPECIALLY #ExecutiveDysfunction, significantly worse, even in spite of ADHD meds.

Day 16, and the end of #CovidJail is in sight.

My temp has only been 0.5-0.7° above normal today.
All symptoms are vastly improved. I have some lingering congestion, but even that is minimal.

I'm very weak.
I spent some time on the front porch this morning, enjoying sunshine, my flowers, a change of scenery. Walked back in (masked!), to the kitchen, back to bedroom. EXHAUSTING. My thighs feel like I had a major workout. Shaky & trembling.

Coming back from this will be a *slow* process.

Day 15 of #CovidJail. Still running a low fever. I *almost* think I could chance coming out of isolation if I keep masking up inside the house. But taking that risk scares me. Spouse and 11yo have managed not to catch this from me. Better I stay in quarantine another day or two. 😔

The good news is, I felt well enough to take an actual shower this afternoon instead of just an inadequate "spit bath" here and there.

So far today, Day 14 of #CovidJail, I have watched two #movies.

That is to say, I watched one all the way through.
The second, I gave up on one hour in.

The one I finished was #BlackBox with Mamoudou Athie and Phylicia Rashad. It was fine. I guessed the twist the first time Athie's character experienced a jarring memory. The rest of the storyline was wholly predictable. Athie's acting and Amanda Christine's were the only part I can say I enjoyed. Rashad as a mad scientist was fine.

Day 3 of #CovidJail
Feeling much better today and have tested negative. Twice.
So, with a sudden burst of energy, Ive spring cleaned my cell and the adjoining one, put all the Christmas decs away, re-organised the built-in wardrobe, thrown away rubbish, made the beds, and put on a casserole in the slow cooker.
#Outlander and #Gaslit are done.
Now half way through #TheSerpentQueen. Its strangely compelling.
