RS, Author, Novelist, ProsaistWell, I went 3 years and 8 months after having a #cold or #flu late December 2019 / early January 2020. Since the outbreak probably came through LAX near where I work, it was probably early #COVID-19 and it was horrible, with carry-on symptoms lasting almost a month.
Last week, I needed to attend a tech conference in Las Vegas for work. I saw masks a total of 5 times, besides my own. I aways wore my mask, but then there was this young guy in a black baseball cap, coughing and hacking in a gift shop, sounding almost like whooping cough, not masking, not even covering his mouth. Just shopping with his female friend without a care.

Even a KN95 mask with a good seal can't keep that kind of dose of virus out, however.

JetlagJenThis past few days have been horrible. This gorgeous furball has been doing her very best to make it less so by dozing near me for much of it.
She's been taking walks with other members of the household then returning to my plague pit. She has barely bugged me for treats or playtime, just been close. I think she understood.
