Three days later and several more people are showing symptoms of #covid after being exposed to the confirmed positive case from Tuesday. 😵‍💫

Obviously, they’re still coming to work/school. Obviously, I’m keeping my #N95 on and using nasal spray and mouthwash multiple times per day. Hoping my 2x #Novavax is offering a little extra protection!

Two days into my new job and I’ve already been exposed to #covid! Good thing I always wear an #N95 even outdoors when I am around other people.

Given the fact that nobody else in my workplace was wearing a #mask or #respirator, this should be a good litmus test of the efficacy of #PPE and the other precautions I take.

Despite being vocal about how important it is to advocate for yourself (in the form of asking people to wear a #mask or #respirator in your personal space), actually doing so in real time can be intimidating. Especially when they’re both a stranger and a cisgender man 🥹

Luckily, there are still people who seem not to give a fuck and will do as you ask.

Dispatch from #Brooklyn #NYC — In the last 48 hrs, I’ve seen 4 ambulances parked outside residential buildings/houses. In 2 instances, they were loading people in on stretchers.

On the #MTA bus: out of ~25 passengers, at least 5 had loud, wet coughs and/or BIG sniffling. That sounds like 20% of people out in public w/active illnesses to me!
