Falling Knife#NFT is an unnecessarily controversial hashtag. Some #Mastodon servers don't even allow you to mention NFT. I get it; there are scams around NFT's. Yet the knee jerks choke off discussion of an entire #technology that holds promise. Even in #Bitcoin, lots of people hate the idea, even while #CounterParty project mint assets on BTC chain.
Look, hate the scammers -- that's very legit. But don't hate emerging technologies. Bitcoiners more than anyone should be sympathetic to this.

You'd be forgiven for thinking there is no #NFT capability in #Bitcoin, but you'd be wrong. #CounterParty enables active niche communities trading the oldest (and new) NFT tokens on BTC. Its more FOSS than VC driven web3 thing. Still, its powerful. Some of the oldest NFT's were made on Bitcoin/Counterparty and are now highly collectible.
Maybe not as as flashy yet as the shit on OpenSea, but don't count Bitcoin out of the non-fungy game, Not yet.
