No matter where I go, I keep coming back to #Mastodon. It certainly seems the place for me.

I keep a presence on #Bluesky, but I still don’t know for how much longer. It’s getting increasingly unhinged.

I looked at #CounterSocial and it’s just not for me.

I keep #LinkedIn for professional reasons.

Another day, another social platform embracing the #Atmosphere (it is currently in Beta).

It is called Gander Social, & it is hosted in #Canada 🇨🇦: https://gandersocial.ca/

Unlike #WSocial, Gander Social will use the standard Atmosphere protocol, which means they will be able to easily interact with #Bluesky users. They plan on launching sometime this year.

I am curious as to why they chose Atmosphere over the #Fediverse.

I was looking forward to an early finish yesterday until the #Fuckening. The nice two lane A class road I was on turned into a single track, barely above dirt track, road over the moors (yet still somehow rated as an A road, suitable for two way traffic including articulated lorries) and hillsides. A road where even 20mph was dangerously fast.

It cost me over an hour of travel time.
