Milano, 19 mag. (Adnkronos/Labitalia) - “Il rapporto tra gli Stati Uniti e l'Italia è estremamente forte, ma si basa davvero sul tipo di legami che vengono creati dagli studenti che arrivano qui in Italia, imparano la cultura italiana, ma allo stesso tempo costruiscono relazioni e spiegano cosa rappresentano gli Stati Uniti. Sono i nostri leader del futuro. Le relazioni che stanno costruendo oggi, come studenti in un programma di questo tipo, li accompagneranno nel futuro”. Sono le parole di Douglass Benning, Console Generale degli Stati Uniti a Milano, alla presentazione del primo Knowledge Center di Knowhow.org, la piattaforma educativa globale che integra formazione accademica, esperienza nelle imprese e immersione culturale, con l'obiettivo di formare la prossima generazione di leader. La prima sede permanente della piattaforma, è situata nell'Edificio Spark 3 nel quartiere in rigenerazione di Santa Giulia a Milano.
“Per quanto riguarda nello specifico il Nord Italia e i forti legami commerciali che abbiamo, queste sono le relazioni che ci permetteranno, insieme, di affrontare le sfide che il mondo deve affrontare oggi - spiega il console Benning - come il cambiamento climatico, l'intelligenza artificiale e le sfide economiche. Quindi tutti questi studenti sono davvero ciò che costruisce il rapporto tra i nostri Paesi per il futuro”.
“Posso garantirvi che alcuni studenti decideranno di rimanere qui, perché l'Italia è un luogo così accogliente e vivace. Milano, e in particolare la Lombardia, sono aree economiche e commerciali estremamente dinamiche, ricche di cultura e con forti legami storici con gli Stati Uniti. Quindi posso garantire che molte persone che stanno studiando in questo programma decideranno di fare dell'Italia la loro casa e costruire qui il proprio futuro professionale”, conclude.
Training, Consul General Benning: “Students build the bonds of the future between Italy and the US”

The first permanent location of the platform is located in Spark 3 Building in the Santa Giulia regeneration district in Milan.
“Regarding specifically Northern Italy and the strong commercial ties we have, these are the relationships that will allow us, together, to address the challenges that the world faces today – explains Consul Benning – such as climate change, artificial intelligence, and economic challenges. So all these students are truly what builds the relationship between our countries for the future.”
