What was the best compliment you’ve received? Most compliments are garbage. Polite noise people throw out because silence makes them nervous. “Nice job.” “You look good.” Meaningless. Disposable. Then one day someone says, “Hey Eric, you act just like your dad did.” That one doesn’t bounce off.
