Digital Public Infrastructure is one of the key priorities under India‘s G20 Presidency in 2023. The EU recentely introduced Digital Commons as a new governance model of digital resources. Both Digital Public Infrastructure and Digital Commons have potentials for advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). There is pressing need to align and establish shared visions of Digital Public Infrastructure and Digital Commons to advance SDGs. This synergy will contribute to the ongoing discussions surrounding the UN Global Digital Compact, planned for agreement during the Summit of the Future in September 2024.
