Italian News by RSSIl Tempo: Next Generation Powerboat: giovani e sport al centro
Si è conclusa domenica a Civitavecchia, un'altra fase della terza edizione del Next Generation Powerboat, una significativa iniziativa promossa dalla Delegazione Regionale Lazio della Federazione Italiana Motonautica Lazio (FIM), con il contributo della Regione Lazio. Il progetto nasce con l'obiettivo di avvicinare i giovani all'affascinante mondo della motonautica e alla pratica sportiva in ambiente acquatico. L'iniziativa si è articolata, fino ad ora in due weekend intensi, inseriti all'interno di un programma più ampio e ambizioso. Protagonisti sono stati 50 ragazzi, selezionati tra le numerose scuole aderenti, che hanno preso parte a una prima fase presso il Centro Federale di Formia. A questa sono seguiti incontri nelle scuole e uscite in acqua, offrendo ai partecipanti l'opportunità di conoscere da vicino la motonautica e vivere in prima persona l'emozione di guidare imbarcazioni del settore giovanile.
La tappa di Civitavecchia ha rappresentato un'importante vetrina per il territorio, anche grazie al suo inserimento nel contesto di un evento nautico di rilevanza nazionale come il Boat Days. In questa occasione, non solo la motonautica, ma numerose federazioni sportive hanno partecipato, sottolineando l'importanza della pratica sportiva, sia agonistica che di base. Con l'avvicinarsi delle competizioni sportive, che prenderanno il via tra poco più di un mese, il progetto assume un valore ancora più significativo. Vivere il mare anche nel periodo invernale significa promuovere il rispetto per l'ambiente e sensibilizzare i giovani a una cultura della sostenibilità. Questi sono solo alcuni dei contenuti di un progetto in continua crescita, il Next Generation Powerboat, che si espande ora anche a livello nazionale. L'iniziativa porterà molti giovani a partecipare prima alle fasi regionali e successivamente a quelle nazionali del Trofeo CONI. Un invito, infine, a vivere l'acqua come un elemento ricco di opportunità: un mondo in cui è possibile praticare molteplici discipline sportive e sviluppare un profondo legame con l'ambiente naturale.

The final phase of the third edition of Next Generation Powerboat concluded Sunday in Civitavecchia, a significant initiative promoted by the Lazio Regional Delegation of the Italian Motorboat Federation (FIM) with the contribution of the Lazio Region. The project was born with the aim of introducing young people to the fascinating world of powerboating and competitive sport in aquatic environments. The initiative, until now consisting of two intense weekends within a broader and ambitious program, featured 50 boys, selected from numerous participating schools, who took part in a first phase at the Formia Federal Center. This was followed by meetings in schools and outings on the water, offering participants the opportunity to get to know powerboating firsthand and experience the thrill of driving youth sector boats.
The Civitavecchia leg served as an important showcase for the territory, also thanks to its inclusion within the context of a nationally relevant nautical event like Boat Days. During this occasion, not only powerboating but numerous sporting federations participated, highlighting the importance of sports practice, both competitive and recreational. As the sporting competitions approach, which will begin in just over a month, the project takes on even greater significance. Living on the sea even during the winter period means promoting respect for the environment and raising young people's awareness of a culture of sustainability. These are just some of the contents of a project in continuous growth, Next Generation Powerboat, which is now expanding nationally. The initiative will bring many young people to participate first in the regional phases and subsequently in the national phases of the CONI Trophy. Finally, an invitation to experience water as an element rich in opportunities: a world where many sports disciplines can be practiced and a deep connection with the natural environment can be developed.
