Das #EES ist ein hochmodernes technologisches System, das die Ein- und Ausreisen von Nicht-EU-Bürgern, die für Kurzaufenthalte in 29 europäische Länder reisen, digital erfasst. Das EES erfasst biografische und biometrische Daten sowie weitere Reiseinformationen und ersetzt damit das bisherige System der Passabstempelung.
The EU’s Entry/Exit System is now fully live across 29 participating countries. For many non EU short stay travellers, first entry now means digital registration, fingerprints and a facial scan instead of a passport stamp. ETIAS is still expected later in 2026.
