Related: I have #ChronicSinusitis. It flares up if I catch any kind of respiratory bug. Since my immune system is almost constantly trying to keep my sinuses healthy-ish, I catch absolutely everything.
So masking up just makes extra sense to me! Covid or no, I'm glad not to catch a cold from the unmasked guy who came to an event saying he was healthy but his whole family was sick! 🙄

Current remedy is shoving Mentholatum up my nostrils and hoping for the best. Is this a recommended course of action? No. Am I at all concerned about the potential repercussions? Also no.
@FeralRobots Okay, I bought some povidone iodine nasal spray! Apparently it has no known interactions with any of my meds or supplements. So that's a good start! The pharmacist said it won't help directly with my #ChronicSinusitis, but it will help to prevent viral infections -- which is what usually triggers my #sinus issues. So here's hoping!
The spray itself is clear, so I expect no staining. When I sprayed it up my nose, it smelled like the leather of a new purse fresh from the store. 😆
if ur not currently sick, do urself a favor and just take a deep breath and remind urself how good it feels to have full use of ur nose
If this is true, then Sudafed must be a hell of a placebo, because I take it every day and I feel the effects of it about 45 minutes after taking it.

I was yesterday years old when I learned that I've been using nosesprays wrong my entire life. Apparently, you're supposed to angle the nozzle toward the outer side of your nose, so that it enters your nasal cavities beneath your cheekbones. Tested this with my Azelastine spray, which usually leaves the most bitter taste in the back of my throat. Can confirm that angling it toward the cheekbones works.
