This Chevrolet Chevette (1987) sold at Mecum Auto Auction in Florida last week for $33K. Only 47 miles, it is otherwise in good condition w/ some visible issues both inside & in the engine. But at only 47 miles, this super efficient, simple car got the bidders attention. I've been so surprised at the numbers for pick-up trucks at the auctions recently, next is energy crisis cars, maybe.

The last time I saw a Chevette was in March of 2013, and here it is. The Chevette, if you didn't know, was a fairly forgettable and not great quality Chevrolet car from the 1970s/early 1980s, and I'm honestly surprised one survived this long. And it's the *Scooter* trim level, which iirc, was *the most cut down* trim level in a model line that was already pretty sparse. Godspeed, Chevette Scooter. I hope you're still out there somewhere.
