it's a futile effort to make a platform built for spying to try and not spy on you such as Windows 10/11

However I'm looking at buying a certified preowned truck and it's known that new vehicles monitor the driver and sell that data to data brokers

I dunno, do I want the peace of mind of having a warranty while being spied on the whole time with DRM or do I risk years of wear and tear and just buy an old GMT800?

Every month or so I get "on a tear" researching a different car.

Last month was the Ford Capri (Mk1).

Month before that was Fiat X1/9.

This month is Porsche 928.

Some of these cars may end up in my garage, as mini-projects to buy, enjoy for a time, and then sell on. I "haz plans" for retirement if we ever get there.

I'll probably move on my "collection" of Jeeps - make room and focus on fewer things.
