I’ve only drafted a few posts since my last update ten days ago, but I’ve still put a lot of work into my blog.

I added a resize button you can maximize the content window with.

I also wrote a custom #pelican plugin so I can use callouts like in #Obsidian markdown. (I already used it in my last post to create a content warning.)

With the days being mostly dull and dark, I wanted to make reading my blog less eye-straining. So, I added a dark mode toggle and a dark theme based on a cherry cola palette. (I love cherry coke! 😋)

To keep my blog static while still allowing comments, I’ve added a backlink on each article’s statusbar to the toot I shared about them. You can comment and like there.

Why has #cherrycoke, a normal drink available in normal countries, never taken off in #NZ, but every 2 years they bring back #VanillaCoke that tastes like assisted dying medication?
