I also used #gelatin as #fining agent to see if I could remove some of the sediment. That was a failure as I used too much. It also did not sediment down as much as I expected. Will try to use another layer of #cheesecloth for the next batch.

Absolutely loving my first watch-through of #TheOuterLimits (1963).

Great storytelling that holds up well. ❤️

Also appreciate little things like S2E1 comparing a laser weapon going through metal to be as easy as pouring through #cheesecloth -- I expect many modern (2025) viewers don't know or only have a vague idea of what cheesecloth is or what it is used for. 🤔

A #Dedicated #Plant #Explorer, he once wrote about the #Trials of #Exploring:

"The #Mosquitoes were very bad.
I had to [wear] my coat, put #Cheesecloth around my head, & extra #Socks on my hands.
My #Shoes had worn through, & my feet were #Blistered...
But, for all the discomforts, the #Collecting was #Magnificent, & I felt fully repaid."

Albert's #Herbarium & #Library were donated to the #Smithsonian.
