i recently repotted my peace lily. looking at her leaves, I get the impression that any of them might be capable of harboring a flowering body and, in turn, becoming a spathe. the leaf in the closeup looks like it changed its mind at the last minute and decided to just be a regular leaf. also, peace lilies are hermaphrodites; having both male and female tendencies.
i don't know if there's already an official house plant of the #lgbtqia community, but my vote would be for Spathiphyllum.

Each time, she's come home empty handed. But this year, with the desert in the midst of a big bloom, she's trying again.
